Giant sticky note reminds us to fix the planet: A Case Study

Client: Cooper Collective
Sector: Outdoor Media
Services: Install, Print

The incredible power of print graphics to make a lasting impact on people is something that can be utilised to serve a broad spectrum of aims and purposes – from interior design to banner advertising.

There are few aims that can claim to be more commendable, however, than raising awareness of the most pressing issues of our day, which is exactly what Cooper Collective, Global Goals and the team at PressOn set out to do in a recent project concerning the EY building at Canary Wharf.

In an endeavour to draw attention to the actions we need to take in order to mitigate and adapt to climate change, PressOn’s Creative Lead Hesham Helmy worked with information and a design concept provided by Cooper Collective to create eye-popping artwork that was sure to catch people’s attention.

About Cooper Collective and The Global Goals

Cooper Collective are a creative agency with sustainability at their heart, who were engaged to create experiential moments in a campaign centred on the Global Goals – a set of 17 commitments that were made by 193 world leaders in 2015 to end extreme poverty, inequality, and climate change by 2030.

Cooper Collective created the concept of the #WorldsToDoList, highlighting the work cities have to address climate change and social issues – by displaying them on giant post it notes.

Print and Installation

Having been provided the design concept by Cooper Collective, PressOn developed it in house, resulting in a huge 8500 x 8500mm artwork that was printed on our HP latex machine – cutting-edge technology that can print graphics onto virtually any substrate.

We produced the graphics on Contravision – a material that allows you to view through it from one side – to ensure unobstructed visibility for those inside the building after the graphics were installed.

To provide maximum impact, these striking graphics were installed high on the building using a spider lift – specialist equipment that is perfect for difficult access and egress challenges.
