The Ritz London

Client: The Ritz
Sector: Hotel
Services: Install, Print

Brief
We were approached by Adams and Palmer a high-end building refurbishment company based in London.  Adams and Palmer need hoarding graphics for the front façade of The Ritz, London. Refurbishment work was being carried out to the stone cladding and the signage at the front of the building. The brief was open for the covering on the hoarding and we suggested photographing the building prior to installing the hoarding and then super imposing the image of the building onto the hoarding to ‘camouflage’ the works. We offered to undertake the photography and artwork and this was duly accepted by The Ritz.

Installation
1. The installation of the graphic would mean that operatives and equipment would be working in the road during install.
2. The Ritz Hotel needed to have the graphic fitted with minimal disruption to its residents.

Adams and Palmer had set us a deadline for installation of the graphic 5 days after the hoarding was installed.

Analysis
The size of the hoarding and limited install time lead us to recommend the use of a Spirit Flex banner system. The advantage of this would be twofold:
1. It would hide the uneven surface left by the hoarding panels
2. It could be fitted quickly

Outcome
Once inducted on the Adams and Palmer site our team installed the graphics within 8 hours.
