PressOn has recently supplied Robin Sprong Wallpaper to their client Design LSM for the interior of the Cinnamon Bazaar restaurant in Covent Garden, London.
An intricately patterned wallpaper – “Kaleidoscope Light” was chosen from Robin Sprong’s Room 13 Collection and produced in the UK by PressOn. The paper features on the 45 sq. m ceiling area of the bar and restaurant area, complimenting the opulence of the gold and blues of the overall design.
PressOn produced the wallpaper on their HP LX 3500 using a pre-woven substrate that is PVC free and suitable for heavy traffic areas.
The 90-cover restaurant is the latest venture from renowned Indian chef Vivek Singh and forms part of The Cinnamon Collection, which includes contemporary Indian restaurants; The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho.
Inspired by the exotic and bustling markets of India, the design scheme embraces an eclectic bazaar ambience offering diners the chance to discover something new with every step. The overall concept is set across two floors; an intimate private dining room on the first floor accompanied by a dedicated bar and vibrant restaurant area on the ground floor.
When the creator and owner of Robin Sprong Wallpapers, Robin Sprong, was in London recently, he and PressOn’s MD Nigel Webster ensured they visited Cinnamon Bazaar. Nigel said, “It was great to see Robin’s designs in a busy restaurant in London. The interior design of Cinnamon Bazaar looked great and the wallpaper worked really well in the scheme. It was a proud moment for PressOn and Robin Spring.”
