Showcasing a loosely Mediterranean style, welcoming atmosphere and friendly ethos, Megan’s engaged PressOn to create print graphics that reflect their brand values while enhancing their interior space and inspiring pre-launch curiosity in the communities they were establishing themselves in.

In light of this aim, PressOn has produced a series of stunning print graphics across multiple sites throughout the last year, with each separate project serving a variety of purposes in Megan’s brand goals.

About Megan’s

Megan’s began in 2002 as a small antiques shop on the Kings Road, Chelsea, where the eponymous founder provided her peckish visitors with homemade treats. These became so popular that the shop was transformed into a cafe, and passed to a new owner (who was a regular visitor) in 2014. Soon opening in the evenings with a Mediterranean-influenced menu, the venue flourished and grew, with several locations opening in new neighbourhoods.

Still independently-owned, Megan’s is quickly growing into a much-loved restaurant chain, with the Mediterranean feel “making you feel as though you have been transported somewhere much sunnier”. Serving brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails, the dog-friendly spot is a hub for each community it serves. The use of teaser graphics (that are put in place while new restaurants are decorated) has proved to be a successful way to introduce the brand to new customers and establish itself in the minds of residents pre-launch.

Exterior Teaser Graphics

From June 2021 to January of this year, PressOn created seven sets of exterior graphics for locations in Fulham, Wandsworth, Weybridge, Richmond, Dulwich, Marlow and Kingston. Printed mainly on the HP3600 on vinyl, these removable graphics were created to cover windows during refurbishment, serving the dual purpose of obscuring internal works and giving passersby an insight into the brand.

Using Megan’s distinctive shade of blue and signature taverna-style tile print as design features, these teaser graphics showcased everything from pictures of Megan’s delicious dishes to recruitment messaging. In every location, these graphics were a key part of sharing the story of Megan’s and sowing the seeds of community engagement so integral to the business.

Interior Graphics

At Megan’s Battersea, Clapham and Dulwich restaurants, a selection of interior prints were installed by our experienced team, working with speed and efficiency at hours suitable to the client to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant. All installed on the 19th January 2022, these graphics were designed to further beautify the interior space and reinforce the Megan’s brand.

At Battersea, PressOn was charged with wrapping a fridge in removable vinyl graphics, creating a visually impactful and seamless effect with Megan’s blue and white, Mediterranean-style tile pattern. This vinyl was – like many of the exterior graphics – printed on the HP3600.

Another piece of our cutting-edge equipment (the R2000) was used in Clapham and Dulwich to create a series of graphics benefiting from a free-drawn feel but with greater resilience and less clean-up. Printed in white ink to optically clear vinyl, both text and drawings decorate Clapham’s fridges & desk, and a full window at Dulwich.
