Brief
CCA Galleries represent the works of some of the most prestigious artists in Britain today. One of those artists is Peter Blake, affectionately known as the ‘Godfather of British Pop Art’. CCA had been commissioned to display a collection of Peter’s work reproduced on two metre wide canvas at the North and South Terminals of Gatwick Airport.
Analysis
Having previously produced graphics that have been displayed in an airport environment, we knew the importance of using the correct fire rated product to meet the strict Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
It was highly imperative that our large reproductions matched the original artworks as closely as possible so as to be worthy of the Artist’s signature. Our GMG colour management software ensured this happened as swiftly as possible.
CCA stretched these canvases themselves to be hung at the locations in the Gatwick terminals.
